Foundation Inspection: Evaluate the current foundation performance for residential or commercial structures due to differential foundation movement and associated distress related or unrelated to plumbing leaks, expansive soils, influence by trees, surface drainage, or other factors by a structural engineer and offer recommendations for repairs, if required. Engineer at TTN Engineering has performed over 8,000 structural and foundations inspections since 1998. Foundations include conventional and post-tensioned (P/T) slab-on-grade, pier and beam, and basement. TTN Engineering shall deliver an electronic report of our findings in the timely manner after our on-site visit(s) with observations, discussions, analysis, digital photographs, conclusions, and recommendations and included an attached floor plan with relative elevation survey readings and contour lines.
Fire Damage Evaluation: Evaluate the general structural condition of the foundation and framing related to fire damage for residential and commercial structures, determine the extent of fire damage, and suggest remedial actions and/or recommend the plan of repair, where applicable.
Design Error and/or Construction Defect Analysis: Investigate design errors and/or construction defects for new and existing residential or commercial structures due to undesirable strength and/or serviceability of the as-built conditions.
Roof Damage Evaluation: Evaluate roof damage (composition shingles, clay tiles, concrete tiles, built-up roofs, and others) to residential and commercial structures related to hail-caused impact, wind, ice, snow, and other perils, determine the extent of roof damage, and offer recommendations for repair or replacement, where applicable.
Retaining Wall Damage Assessment: Evaluate retaining walls such as concrete, stackable blocks, wood, or stone, determine the as-is condition of the retaining walls, and offer remedial actions, if required.
Vehicular Impact Damage Evaluation: Evaluate vehicular impact damage to residential and commercial structures, determine the extent of damage, and recommend the plan of repair.
Cause & Origin: Determine the point of causation of the structural damage.
Failure Investigation: Assess of structural collapse to residential and commercial buildings and structures and provide recommendations for repairs.
Pre & Post-Construction Phase Inspections: Framing and foundation inspections for new construction during and after the construction phases in according to the design and construction documents, if available. TTN Engineering shall deliver a detailed report including digital photographs of our findings and recommendations.
